A Heartfelt Farewell to an Amazing Season & A Look Ahead to Holiday Markets!

As the crisp autumn air sweeps through, we wrap up another incredible season at the Wakefield Farmers Market. Each Saturday has been filled with community connections, fresh finds, and joyous moments making our 15th Birthday season one for the books. From vibrant summer mornings filled with fresh produce and live music to bustling autumn afternoons full of community spirit, this season was one to remember. We hosted special guests, from Curious Creatures educating visitors young and old about exotic animals to Young Entrepreneurs Day showcasing local talent and innovation. The market has been a hub for sharing smiles, discovering new flavors, and building a stronger community. We’re grateful to be a part of it all.  A huge thank you to our loyal customers, talented vendors, and dedicated volunteers who made this season a true success!


But the excitement doesn’t stop here! We’re thrilled to announce two special holiday markets coming your way. Mark your calendars for November 23, 2024, and December 14, 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Hall Park, 468 North Avenue, Wakefield, MA. These markets are perfect for stocking up on seasonal produce, specialty foods, and unique holiday gifts while supporting local businesses.

The market offers SNAP/EBT and will match SNAP purchases up to $15 per visit, thanks to the generous sponsorship of The Wakefield Food Pantry. Great news for SNAP users: HIP is back! Use your EBT card to shop with Farmer Dave’s or Moonlight Farm first, then get your additional SNAP bucks and match at the Market Manager Tent.

The Wakefield Farmers Market relies on the dedication and passion of our wonderful volunteers to keep things running smoothly each week. From helping set up tents and tables to assisting with events and SNAP Match, our volunteers are the heart and soul of our market. We’re always looking for more friendly faces to join our team!
