October 24 Market Day: Produce, Pies & Pumpkins!

This Saturday, October 24, the Wakefield Farmer Market, at Hall Park on the shores of Lake Quannapowitt is packed full of socially distant vendors. Only 2 markets left, some of our vendors will be here for a final time this week.  The market takes place each Saturday from 9:00-1:00 through October 31, 2020 rain or shine.  This week looks like it will be another gorgeous fall day.

Thank you all for your continued support and patience, it is appreciated by all of us. Because our summer/fall market went so well, I approached our Board about the possibility of hosting a few outdoor holiday markets.  Thanks to a little planning and our Town Council, the Wakefield Farmers Market is pleased to announce the addition of 2 outdoor holiday markets, Saturday, November 21 and December 12 from 11 am to 2pm in a present location in Hall Park.

Many of our current vendors will be participating, along with a few new local artisan vendors to give you some unique gift giving options while supporting local business.   Keep your eyes out for more information as we come closer to those dates.

Next Saturday, we will be celebrating Halloween at the market! We encourage everyone – old, young and four-legged to wear their costumes to the market on October 31.  So get out the wigs, masks and crazy hats and join us for some fun.

As  mentioned, we have a full market this week, in addition to this week’s farmers and small batch producers, this Saturday Sarah’s Originals will have Halloween, Fall and Christmas 3 layer fabric masks for children and adults. Plus, infinity scarves, small bags, table runners, sport scarves, pillows, blankets.
