Summer is officially here and Saturday, June 29 the market will be full of freshly picked fruits, veggies, locally raised meats, out of this world dairy, and specialty foods you won’t find on the supermarket shelf.  Plus live music, local artisans, henna, kids activities and more.  The Wakefield Farmers Market takes place at Hall Park (next to Veterans Field, GPS 468 North Ave Wakefield MA) each Saturday through October 12, 2019.

Saturday’s market day will feature live music by Willie T & Doctor X, a dynamic, Boston-based singer/songwriter duo. They’ve cut their teeth on the club and college circuit throughout the Northeast, dishing out their distinctive brand of acoustic rock, folk, and blues. Willie T’s deep, resonant, vocal style and masterful self-accompaniment on guitar is backed by Doctor X’s gutsy vocals, soulful blues harmonica and percussion. The Wakefield Farmers Market Music Program is sponsored by The Savings Bank.
